Here here! She is even better with some of the trinkets you can get from the Items Upgrade Mod

Sorry I took that the wrong way Wally, only saying some people (not all) may need more than one.

Naturally. If two (or even one) cleric/s were needed, you wouldn't be able to solo with fighters or rogues.

Exactly, they aren't needed. But I still go with 1.5 in the party usually anyway (never less than one). I guess it's more of a habit from my PnP days. In PnP, you never leave home without a cleric, because healing potions did not grow on trees. In BG2, healing potions grow on trees. And bushes. And pretty much pop out of thin air practically (at least compared to PnP). And regenerating items are relatively common, too (I can remember in ONE PnP campaign where I found a ring of regeneration; I never found another one ever again). Add to that the anti-undead items lying about, and you really do not need a cleric. The only real thing that a druid does that would be a little harder to replace would be the insect spells. However, that is hardly a necessity. In other words, I end up taking 1 or 1.5 priests, but by the time I get to ToB, they are hardly memorizing any healing spells (buffs and attack spells instead, to back up warriors and mages respectively).

Truthfully, you don't even need to memorize that many heal spells, just one slot for each spell level is enough.
Casting healing spells is time consuming, and IMO potions are the best call. In the thick of things in a battle, you're more likely to get hit and the spell be interrupted and have that loss or just drink a healing potion to be healed quickly. From what I can tell, a Cure Serious Wounds spell works about as well as a healing potion does or visa versa, so like I said, the only spell taking a risk on casting in battle (healing wise) is Mass Cure. [/QUOTE]Yes, I know healing spells are time-consuming, and that a hit can interrupt the spell. However, from my own experience, my healers hardly get attacked.

Maybe it's the way I have my party formation, considering I keep my healers and spellcasters near the back or middle.
