Giyah; it's not my year already as far as computers are concerned. My computer has contracted a piece of spyware. The thing has already caused me to have to download Mozilla, as it's an Internet Explorer browser hijacker. I think it's called msbp.exe, or something like that? Anyway, Ad-aware wouln't find it and while spybot found it, it couldn't get rid of it. Following instructions I found on some random site I couldn't find again, I deleted the main msbp.exe file from my regedit. However, there's about five of the little gits left on my system and I don't know where they are or how to delete them. I _think_ they keep trying to download lop.exe, which seems to be another browser hijacker.

One aspect of this is that I can't use MSN, neither the MSN version or the windows messenger version. Attempts at logging in cause this error to turn up:

"Sorry, we could not sign you in because the sign-in name you entered does not exist or the password is incorrect.

If you have forgotten your password, please click Help in the main Messanger window, and then click Help Topics for instructions on resetting your password. 0x81000303"

Help?

One time when I got a hijacker program I typed in the name of the bug on Google and found a couple websites that gave me detailed info on how to delete the thing. Have you tried that? Also...get the program called "Hijack this". It will show you all questionable things on your PC and let you decide what to get rid of.
