my family consists of 7 children: 5 boys and 2 girls (2 sets of twins). adding my parents, and the fact that my mom's bday is on the 23rd, I buy 9 presents every christmas for my family alone. now my question is, how many of you out there, with large families, buy a gift for each member and how many of you draw names? I have several friends who have equally large families and they draw names, but that has always seemed kinda cheap to me (not cheap cause I want more but cheap cause I honestly enjoy buying people gifts)

so..ya, how many buy for all and how many draw names?

and just in case you're wondering, and even if you're not, I'm #7 (by 1 minute)...oh joy, very bottom of the hierarchy.

Ha, I think some here'd be surprised to know that my family consists of 8 children: 3 boys and 5 girls. I once mentioned it too, but that was pretty much like "by the way, ..." so nobody listened anyway

I'm actually too uncaring to buy gifts at all That probably wouldn't be the case if I'd have a smaller family.. Oh well, it works this way too.

I am also the 7th, though that makes me the one before the last child.

Wow, you buy presents for your whole family every Christmas? Very nice of you, good luck with that

well, I buy prezzies for everyone, my more useless twin brother doesn't always buy them. plus my parents usually give us 2 each. so what end's up happening is we don't get a couple of really expensive gifts, rather a bunch of more mediocre gifts.

works for me though, and if you want a few extra brothers (you know, for kidneys and such) I'm selling them off
