Uninstalling it won't get rid of it yet, but then you have to go through a long multi-step process to remove spyware. Try searching google.

If its just music your looking for , audiogalaxy rocks!! I have tried winmx for movies and stuff , but i kept getting cut off mid download , so I ditched the program entirely. For pop ups , nothing beats "popup stopper. You can DL it from www.panicware.com Its totaly customizeable and since I have installed it I havent seen a single pop up ad. As for spy ware I have the anonymizer browser plug in . It is supposed to put you in stealth mode when your on the net to minimise spyware and cookies. Maybe if there is anyone out there who knows of a program that whacks spyware they will be nice and give up the link??
