Some questions...
Is there only one other char. that is with you through the whole game?
How can I heal him or give him new items such as weapons?
Is there sub quests in this game?
Whats the best char. class to be?

There are 5 different henchmen you can hire, and you can switch back and forth between them during the course of the game, but you can only have one of them with you at a time.

I think the only ways to heal them are casting spells and using the med kits you find/buy. If they have potions or healing spells, then they will use them on themselves when necessary. You can also ask them to heal you using the same methods.

You can't give hencemen items or take items from them. They are completely AI driven, although you can tell them how you'd prefer them to react to certain conditions. They may give you things, but it's up to their AI script.

There are many sub quests/FedEx adventures to be undertaken.

The best character for NWN is up to you and your likes/dislikes, but if you want more than two characters in your party you can choose a spell caster who can summon creatures to increase your party to 3. If you choose a sorcerer or wizard, not only can you have a henchman, but also a familiar, and you can summon monsters to travel with you for a party of 4. Even doing this, though, you won't be able to control your "party" like you could in the BG series.

I like being a ranger mage, with a stave in one hand and a katana in the other I can summon familiar, summon monster, call on an animal companion, and hire henchmen. I've found a code that allows you to hire multiple henchmen into a party too, but it's quite difficult keeping up with them and expensive too

another way to heal henchmen is to o into your inventory (I know I like all the quickslots too) and select a potion, and "give" it to your henchmen, they will immediately drink it ragaining HP's

You call up your inventory and drag the potion from the inventory over the henchmans body.

If he or she is in a crowd (i.e. getting swarmed by opponents) it is sometimes hard to drop it on them without pausing. You can drop it on their photo (right underneath yours on the top right) and it will do the same thing.

No problem. And thanks Nerull for telling me that I didn't know you could do it by dragging it over there portrait thanks alot! That's alot easier although I'm back playing Baldur's Gate 2 now so I will not be playing Neverwinter Nights for a while yet but I'll remember that for my next game!
