Except from the fact that you could have combined your posts to one, it's again again easier for me if you would give me some more information regarding your party.

General tactics include Skeleton Warriors, or other summons. Buffing helps as well (Chant, Draw Upon Holy Might, Protection from Fire (! very important), Stoneskin etc.). Also, make sure you cast Lower Resistance on our angry overgrown lizard. That way you can hurt him with spells such as Chromatic Orb, Magic Missile and Melf's Acid Arrow. Good luck!

Yea, this should also have a spoiler tag on it along with your other post.

If you are desperate to defeat the red draon you could just be cheesy and set as many snares around him as possible. This means that the next time you hit him, he will go down to at least near death. then just go in with your buffed up tanks and have your mages and archers hit away. Another good tactic would be to use lots of summons to distract Firagg (or whatever his name is) while you pummel away with your tanks, healing them when they get injured. Also do not forgot to attack him from ALL SIDES. This means that some of his best moves CANNOT affect ALL your party in most cases.

Hope this helps.

While Firkragg is still unhostile cast magic resistance on him. This will work because lower resistance only slightly lowers his resistance which is very good. Magic resistance will set his MR to 15%(i think). After that cast harm on your cleric and if you can succsefully hit him he will be prety badly damaged from there just attack him with some magic and he will be dead!

*This only works with a higher level party*

the funniest way i've ever come up with was to imprison him...then, after i had jan load up on spike traps and explosive traps, i cast freedom...

Jan Jansen getting spike traps...3000000 xp points...
your sorceror getting imprison and freedom....2000000 xp points...
the look on firky's face...priceless...

get the gold dungeon master card for all the things in faerun that does have a price...

magic resistance works best when your cleric level is low...max is 40%...if your mages or sorcerors have lower resistance and spell trigger, load up...breach him, lower his resistance, and have jae cast harm...jae's thac0 is high enough to actually hit with harm...however, if you only have aerie, who's thac0 is awful, try this...

under timestop, all melee attacks are automatic hits...

kill_F4's, this is the THIRD thread on the same topic. At this point, excuses of accidental multiposting are invalid. This is not the only time we have caught you for spamming though, since it happened in the IWD Forum as well. Kindly please avoid anymore spamming in the future. I believe we have given you enough reminders already, so consider this your first warning.

In addition, as stated explicitly in both the Official Rules & Regulations AND the Forum Guidelines, SPOILING are to be stated beforehand properly in order to avoid spoiling newcomers.

Lastly, I am closing this thread. All further replies please redirect to this original thread.
