problem [ SPOILERS A HEAD ]

okay so ive did unseeying eyes qeust
but when i go back to give him the rod
the guy who normaly calls his god name
stays outside so when normaly the god
appears and blablabla you give rod blabla
and you can go on with other qeust
but the guy is !!! OUTSIDE !!! the tempel
so the god doesnt appear and i want the XP
and wanna cont with other qeust and such
because as long as you have the rod you
cant leave the sewer
so please help me

this is the *correct* way to do that quest(meaning you get the most exp)

it all starts in the temple district when gaal preaches to the people outside the Morninglord's temple. talk to whomever you have to and go speak gaal after that. after getting the key, go speak to the former high priest of the cult, Sas-something. he will tell you to get the rod part, so go get it. then return to the Sas-something dude and he will tell you to go to speak to some guy by the pit of the faithless(which is near Gaal's residence). then throw your self down the pit and youll find yourself near a city of undead. you can go there, but its not a "must do" quest, though you do get a few nice items(especially for keldorn). then continue to the beholders caves and eventually you will find the second part of the rod. use it on the beholder, collect all the nice items you get from there and return to the god who gave you the original piece of the rod. he will give you a powerful shield and some exp. after that, return to Sas-something(you know, i faintly remember his name to be Sassar...anyway) and he will thank you and tell you that you are such a wonderful person and all. kill the lich if you want(or havent already), and then you *should* go back to gaal to slay the little eye-popping bastard. you get some more nice items, and you get some scrolls and stuff if you explore a little more closely around the rooms where the cultist people live. to complete the quest, return to the priest who sent you to investigate in the first place. tadaa!!! all done

like it normally does but i reloaded it and its working now

Waverider, your problem is most likely that you didn't use the Rift Device. That in itself is not a problem: The Unseeing Eye is easy to defeat even without the Device. But the "leader" of the Diseased Ones will only give his speech if you have the DEPLETED Rift Device in your Inventory. If you try to talk to him with a Device that still works, he won't know what to do.

Go find yourself a nice little target to shoot the Device at--I suggest the Diseased One who refuses to do what he's supposed to.
