As i sat here, wondering , I noticed that the IW had a new latest member. Then I noticed the huge amount of members that the IW has.

What was the IW forum like when it first started??

Who were the first 10 or so members?

Can anyone remember??

*A wondering Lavvy sits their, wonderously wondering*

The oldest surviving memebers are Ziroc, Rikard and Larry, as far as I know.... They're the ones to ask.

Well where are they then....

If they are the oldest members, surely they should know I have just posted asking a very relevant, and pertinent question.

Or is that me just daydreaming???

I wasn't here from the very beginning but I did come here not too long after. While this new board is fantastic, some of us do still have a nestalgiac fondness for the old blue board as antiquated as it seems now. There were about 50 or so of us then that posted regularly and it was a great place. Despite some occasional fiasco's, it still is We all shared alot and grew pretty close to each other, but the single most decisive factor in my recollection that truly brought us all together was the way many of our "Core group" members, Memnoch, Armie and Ziroc in particular dealt with the "flamer" who is to "forever remain nameless". I thought we had a great board before that, but that circumstance showed me just how truly fortunate we are and were to have the "Z-man", "Mem" and "Armie". I miss the heck out of "Armie". Anyone ever hear from him?

Actually, I used his 'abbreviated nick', Armies real board name was Armisael. A terrific Aussie, who married not long ago and had to hang up his board mantle for an indetermined period of time. We keep hoping that he will make an appearance from time to time.

To be honest, I don't know now. I would have thought we would have heard from Armie by now if he were going to come back, at least on occasion. Memnoch might have heard from him via e-mail but I can't state that for a certainty. It would be great to hear from him.
