All of a sudden the Wizard's Guild started selling the same things as the Armory (swords and shields etc.). Is there any way to fix this bug?

The guild special items remains correct.

Have you tried leaving town then coming back? It could reset.

Yeah, that didn't work

AFAIK, this won't stop me from completing the game, it's just annoying for an OCD player like me (it's just... not... organized!)

Thanks for the reply

Have you sold any items in the magic shop? In that case those items will be available for you to by back. That could be the problem. Otherwise I´m

And following up on WillowIX's thought, if you sell too much stuff to one place, you might create an overflow problem. Consider buying some stuff back and either dropping it or selling it to someone else, if that seems like it might be a problem.

How much is too much? Well, it always depends, but if I were to place a bet, I'd look at either 128, 256, or 512 items. I may have hit 128 before, but I don't think I've hit 256.

And the problem might actually be at the armory, and just showing up at the wizard's guild. You might need to buy things back from there to reduce the count.

And just for grins, you might try reinstalling (while saving the appropriate files), but I don't think that will work. The issue is probably in your actual data files.

And one last thing: are you playing patched or unpatched? Applying the patch might be worth trying.

well.........according to bungleau's statement about how many items (128,256 etc.), i've been selling MILLIONS (jkjk) of items to the armoury and yet nothing unusual has happened. wat's more, i'm playing unpatched!
the problem could be ur unpatched version as bungleau said, although mine is alright

Just a thought but have you actually tried scrolling back through the items to the beginning? You might just be seeing the items that you sold the guild.

What I'm referring to, LiOnHe@rT, is selling different kinds of items -- a longsword is one item, no matter whether you sell one or a thousand. A longsword +1 would be a second item, and a longsword +2 a third item. If the total number of unique items gets big enough, it could overflow the data in the records, and could conceivably cause something like this..

So those millions of takekatsu arrows only count as one item...
