I have a slight scratch on CD4 of bg2. This has caused a 12MB file, area220A.bif, to become corrupted. Is there any chance that someone could mail it to me at cpa199@ecs.soton.ac.uk, as I would like to continue playing the game, and without this file cannot.

And we have just been given, class, is the exact reason that we make backup copies of CDs...

I would help, but cant send files that big through hotmail. Plus on a dialup it would take an hour. You may have some luck getting the disc replaced, or maybe a CD-R might be able to read it - they have more sophisticated laser arangements thant straight CD-ROMS. OR you could borrow someone elses copy for a few minutes.
