Since I've been posting on this wretched (but very wonderful at the same time) thing, I haven't put in a single full day's work!!

(As I am self employed and work from home, this is a disaster! Forum addiction can seriously damage your wealth.....

I note that at the times when I would expect 'America' to be working, the board is packed solid with debaters and socialisers going hard at it.... Ooh. (Silver Cheetah is struck by sudden thought...) Could it be that you 'chat' from the workplace too?

90% of my posting is from work.

Because I happen to be fairly comptuer literate, I've been assigned Computer Lab Supervision as one of my teaching duties. This means that I sit in a room of computers and make sure that no one is using the computers to play games, to download inappropriate materials, and to frequent chat boards.

Since the lab is mostly vacant, I spend a good portion of my supervision time catching up on threads. Sort of ironic that I'm supposed to keep students away from areas like the ironworks forums.

Of course I also have lunch time to post, as well as time after school.

I resent the implication that I actually "work" while at work! I just come here for the paychecks...

Being that I "teach", I do have to work. However (and my post times will probably bear this out), during the day hours, I hop on during the 15 minute breaks we have between classes to check and see if anything new has occurred. I also use part of my lunch break to check up as well.

After hours is actually more sketchy for me. I will hop on sporadically after 4pm forum time (3pm for me, which is when I'm off work), but I'm doing a lot of other things as well, so I may not be on until later in the evening. It all depends on what is going on.

Cheers,

Uh . . . um . . . *scratches head* . . . oh, yeah, I'm on salary instead of hourly wages.

*whew*

That means I am expected to do my workload, but have flexibility regarding when it gets done. *sighs in relief about having avoided the question*

Well, I tend to put in a full day's work (now I am back at it). I also tend to look at my present employer with a new sense of wonder and awe. How any worldwide company can make such an utter cock-up of running things is truly miraculous!!

Oh, and just to make things a little more difficult, If you would like to know who I currently work for, just solve this simple puzzle. It's an anagram of "ever rank"....and it might not exist this time next week
