OK, I was strolling around the graveyard today when Edwin decided he wanted to go look for some bizarre, cryptic book. He suggested we start with the lower tombs. Well, I've been all over the damn thing looking for this book and so far I've killed off some crazy spider bitch; talked to a confused lich; and killed a ton of ghouls, wights, and mummies. I've also encountered a weird door that doesn't respond to a KNOCK or PICK LOCKS.

My hunch is that this weird book is behind this door, but I haven't figured out how to open it. Any clues?

It's not that door you are talking about.
The thing is. When you go down to the second level in the dungeon and fight all those mummies and stuff, you have to go all the way down to the right, and then you will discover a secret door. Then your on your way to the book.

OK, I found a secret door in the weird Egyptian looking room that had the Pharaoh looking floor tiles with the traps all over it. I went through that door, fought some more mummies and ghouls and talked to a lich. I looked all over the joint down their and didn't find the book. Did I miss something?

OK: When you talked to the lich, was Edwin with you? And it's not a book, it's a scroll. You don't actually find it. Edwin automatically takes it and it doesn't appear in his inventory.

Something tells me that if the lich is still alive then you don't have it. If he's dead then you should, but Edwin should have been in the room.

Yeah, Edwin's in the party, but he wasn't in the room. I'd sent Yoshimo up to scout for traps and the rest of my party was a goodly ways back. The lick initiated dialogue with me, asked if I was with the Cowled Wizards - which I told him no, and then blathered on about being forgotten.

Anyway, he never got aggressive and I looked around for some stuff and didn't find much of anything... Maybe I should go back and let Edwin speak with him?

Send Edwin up. Oh, probably not by himself. And be prepared.
