Yea took me a while to figure that one out on my 1st BGII game, but I think it's because the monster has resistance to normal and +1 weapons?? Someone correct me if im wrong! To kill him, I sent in my best warriors who were already eqquipped with like +2 and +3 weapons. Then took him out really fast, especially since my kensai had dual wield with a +2 and a +3 in his hands!

The drow weapons naturally come with a +3 enchantment - so go and equip these for battling the brute. This is one aid that I really thanked them for!

Just pick up one of 'em Drow +3 Longswords ya find all around, and hack the deamon to pieces. Personally, I just used my (Then) 15 th level Berserker and attacked the deamon alone in berserker mode, dual wielding longswords, and gave him strikes o' punishment per round till the beast died. No problemo.

I only have a Pentium (I) 200 Mhz, so BGII runs a bit slow even at the very lowest settings, so I don't walk around with the whole party that much, to slow!

He is imune to every wepon +2 or lesser. You must have a +3 to beat him.
It was fun, I stood in the corner at his hole, and he couldn't reach me
So I hit him with Halebard +4 and Spear +3 And didn't loose a HP
