Anyone have one of these? I just started a new character, but can't decide if I want to take him to WM eventually, if I want to get all the different Rages, go for Dev Crit instead, etc. I'd be especially interested if anyone has used the special rage feats and what you thought of them. Something about having an epic barb and NOT getting those doesn't seem right.

While I have never actually done this myself, I have seen it done, and some of those rages are awesome, go for it, all out in the rages...You'll like the end result.

I agree, get as many rages as you can. I've only got the 'normal' rage on my current game and I'm finding it useful.

The only problem I have is is this - I can't get both the thunderous and mighty rage with my character. I initially set him up to possibly be a WM (13 dex and int), but even without it's not very easy to do. Why don't barbs get either great con or great st as an epic feat?

I believe they do. The Epic Feat list is for feats specific to that class. Any char can take the great str/great con feats, and 25 str, 21 con should be very doable.

You could try something like this

Sure it doesn't have Weapon master in it but it is a very good build

Thanks T-D-C. I like that one.

I was thinking of something that would let me get all three rages. Would something like this work:

Human, with first 20 levels Barbarian. St & Con at 16 at start.

+1 to Con at 4,8,12,16 & 20 for 21 to get Mighty Rage. Max your Intimidate for Terrifying Rage. Levels 24, 28, 32, 36 & 40 go to St.

Human - take Power Attack, Cleave at 1, Dodge at 3, Mobility at 6, Weapon Focus Longsword at 9, Improved Crit Longsword at 12, Improved Init at 15, Great Cleave at 18.

21 - 28 Fighter - this is where I'm unsure it will work -
21 - Great Strength (17)
22 - GS (18)
24 - GS x 2 + 1 natural modifier (21)
26 - GS (22)
27 - GS (23)
28 - GS +1 natural modifier (24)

29-40 Barbarian
30 - Epic Weapon Focus Longsword
32 - Epic Feat - Mighty Rage +1 ST natural modifier (25)
33 - Overwhelming Crit
36 - Dev Crit
36 - Epic Feat - Thundering Rage
39 - Armor Skin
40 - Terrifying Rage

If anyone sees something here that is wrong, please point it out so I don't waste any more time trying to get him going in EFU.

Why don't you try him out in Chewies Novice to epic character maker?

It looks like it should work. But test it out.
