How old are you?
I'm 19 now, next level up is in just a couple of months.

What game originally brought you to IW?
Icewind Dale 2. Then I found what an awesome source of information this forum is for all the games I play, and here I am now, with 4k posts.

What city do you live in?
Zagreb, capital of Croatia. Just about the "perfect mix" city.

What sort of place do you live in (e.g., house, townhouse, apartment, etc.)?
I live in an apartment, somewhere just off-center of the city. Once again, a "perfect mix" spot

What is your favourite and least favourite vegetable?
My favorites are Potatoes and Rice, least favorite is... hmm... not much vegetables I despise... grass

When you were young (i.e. under 12), what did you want to be when you grew up (an adult! Har har... No, what occupation [Wink] )?
Duke Nukem

How many pairs of shoes do you have?
Varies with the changing of seasons. Currently, I have 3, looking to improve upon that.

Are you left-handed or right-handed?
A little bit of both. There are some things I am more comfortable doing with my left, and there are some things I am more comfortable doing with my right.

Black coffee or with milk?
With milk, most of the time, unless it's 2AM, and I have an exam in 8 hours and didn't study much. Then I eat coffee with a spoon.

Do you have a tattoo or piercings?
Nope. Tattoos interest me a bit, but I don't want any yet.

Can you whistle?
Can I whistle? Can *I* whistle!? What kind of question is that, ofcourse I can! Are you trying to insult me?

Do you have a sweet tooth or savoury tooth?
Savoury. Definetly savoury. Nothing like eating a pizza and enjoying it for a half an hour more...

If you could choose any time from the past in which to have lived, when and where would it be, and why (e.g., 17th century France, America in the 1920s, 3rd century BC Greece, etc.)?
Good question! I'd make it either 16th or early 20th century, working with Da Vinci, Buonarotti or Tesla. Working with great minds interests me greatly.

White, brown, or multigrain bread?
Multigrain is the best, but it's twice as expensive as brown bread. I prefer either of them to white.

What book are you reading currently or read most recently?
Reading A Game Of Thrones, just because it's part of the best series ever written by human hands.

How much sleep do you get?
I despise sleeping. I loathe sleeping. I'll sleep when I'm dead, is what I say. Never more than 8 hours, most often 5-6.

Preferred type of chocolate - dark, milk, or white?
Dark, hard, strong, with as much cocoa as possible. Lindt if possible too.

Spray, stick, or roll-on deodorant?
Spray.

Who are you going for in the World Cup?
Croatia, ofcourse.

What movie genre do you prefer - comedy, thriller, drama, action, animated, musical, (other)?
I love anything with a good story, the more complicated the better.

What colour is your hair?
Blond, but somewhat darkening over the past few years.

Black jellybeans - yum or yuck?
Yummie!

Do you have a pet? What, who, how old, etc?
Chiro is a parrique, got him as a birthday present from a friend a few years back. He used to be wild, but nowadays he gets out of his cage, flies around a bit, and then goes back in.

What's one thing in the past year that you're proud of achieving?
Graduating from High School and enrolling into College for free.

How old are you?
21

What game originally brought you to IW?
Baldur's Gate 2 : Shadows of Amn

What city do you live in?
Leiden

What sort of place do you live in (e.g., house, townhouse, apartment, etc.)?
House (with four other people)

What is your favourite and least favourite vegetable?
Favorite: depends on my mood really. I like tomatoes (especially the Roma-variant), carrots, cucumber, even 'exotic' vegetables such as fennel.
Least favorite is probably rhubarb. I didn't like it as a kid (even refused to eat it), but nowadays I will eat it if necessary.

When you were young (i.e. under 12), what did you want to be when you grew up (an adult! Har har... No, what occupation )?
Hmm... tough one. I don't recall ever wanting to be a police officer or fireman. I think I was enthousiastic about being a marine biologist, because I was fascinated by killer whales. I still like the idea of being the next Jacques Cousteau, or a less danger-seeking Steve Irwin.

How many pairs of shoes do you have?
Considering the fact that I am a guy, way too many. I think it's close to 15 (but that's counting different sport shoes along with the rest).

Are you left-handed or right-handed?
Right-handed. I wish I was a bit more ambidextrous, though.

Black coffee or with milk?
Black, definitely. I once tried milk and sugar, but didn't like it for one bit.

Do you have a tattoo or piercings?
Nope. Walked around with the idea of getting an eyebrow piercing a couple of years ago, but it's not my thing. Glad I didn't do it after all.

Can you whistle?
But of course.

Do you have a sweet tooth or savoury tooth?
I am a food fanatic (you become one after you've rowed lightweight for some time) but I think it's safe to say I enjoy sweets a lot.

If you could choose any time from the past in which to have lived, when and where would it be, and why (e.g., 17th century France, America in the 1920s, 3rd century BC Greece, etc.)?
Hmm, tough one. I don't know if I could bear living in a non-industrial age, simply because I'm so adjusted to computers and the such. For interest's sake I'd like to take a look in Ancient Greece, more specific Alexander's campaign against Darius in the 4th century BC.

White, brown, or multigrain bread?
Depends on the occasion. A white peace of bread, toasted, can be delicious, but I usually eat brown or multigrain bread. Whatever the supermarket still has to offer.

What book are you reading currently or read most recently?
I *was* reading the Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie, but can't get myself to finishing it. So now I resolved to reading Feist's "A Darkness at Sethanon" - again.

How much sleep do you get?
Approximately 8 hours a day (... or is it night? )

Preferred type of chocolate - dark, milk, or white?
Milk (with hazelnuts in them!)

Spray, stick, or roll-on deodorant?
Spray. Right now Rexona for Men Sport's Edition (that's what it's called in Holland anyway).

Who are you going for in the World Cup?
Holland of course! Go Orange!

What movie genre do you prefer - comedy, thriller, drama, action, animated, musical, (other)?
Anything good. I find myself enjoying drama movies more often, so I guess I should put those in the number one seat. However, I did enjoy Miyazaki's anime's, flicks such as the Lion King (all animated), I like a good laugh once in a while (even the sexually orientated ones such as Road Trip and Van Wilder) and thrillers.

What colour is your hair?
Brown, turning more blonde in summer.

Black jellybeans - yum or yuck?
I'm not sure if I've ever eaten them. I don't distaste beans, though, so I'm guessing yum.

Do you have a pet? What, who, how old, etc?
No, as I live in a student home. I like dogs, somehow I'm fascinated with turtles as well, but I doubt I'll ever get one.

What's one thing in the past year that you're proud of achieving?
Actually, there's a couple of things:
 • Participating in the World Schools Debating Championships in January 2001.
 • Having written lots of songs that a lot of people actually like
 • Participation in the World Rowing Championships under 23 coming summer (knock on wood -- we still need to prove ourselves)

Anything from gardener to pilot

Dark. White isn't chocolate and milk isn't really chocolate either.

What movie genre do you prefer - comedy, thriller, drama, action, animated, musical, (other)?
I enjoy most of them from time to time, but will rarely sit down to watch any.

What colour is your hair?
Dark brown

Black jellybeans - yum or yuck?
For those who never saw any:

I prefer proper licorice.

Do you have a pet? What, who, how old, etc?
Our cat's an elderly lady with so much grey hair that to ask her age is not just impolite, but downright dismissed with a grumpy meow.

What's one thing in the past year that you're proud of achieving?
Finding plenty of opportunity to smile.

Lots of interesting responses!! I can't believe the small number of shoes people have - who only has two pairs of shoes!!! And Wellard, you pedant, obviously by shoes I meant footwear . Boots, maybe, but how are trainers not shoes? What ARE shoes under that definition??

I didn't know you were Croatian, Bozos! I apologise in advance for knocking you out of the world cup

How old are you?
25

What game originally brought you to IW?
BG2

What city do you live in?
Brisbane

What sort of place do you live in (e.g., house, townhouse, apartment, etc.)?
Ground floor unit/apartment in a block of 12

What is your favourite and least favourite vegetable?
I think my favourites would be corn and broccolini, and least favourite would be onion.

When you were young (i.e. under 12), what did you want to be when you grew up (an adult! Har har... No, what occupation )?
Many things - an author, a policewoman, an interior designer, the treasurer.

How many pairs of shoes do you have?
22 . Although only probably 8 or 9 are in the regular rotation.

Are you left-handed or right-handed?
Righty, although I open jars with my left hand.

Black coffee or with milk?
Don't like coffee, so neither, but I like a (skinny) hot chocolate sometimes.

Do you have a tattoo or piercings?
Just my ears.

Can you whistle?
Yes, and quite tunefully.

Do you have a sweet tooth or savoury tooth?
Sweet

If you could choose any time from the past in which to have lived, when and where would it be, and why (e.g., 17th century France, America in the 1920s, 3rd century BC Greece, etc.)?
This is hard, because as a woman I'm aware that I have never had it so good as I do right now. Of course there were periods when women had quite a lot of rights, like owning property, being able to get divorces, etc. but nothing like now in terms of freedoms, rights, education and occupational opportunities, etc. And obviously health care and luxuries and technology make things so easy now as well... Also I wouldn't want to live in some fabulously historic and interesting period and be like, a peasant who is completely unaware of how exciting the time is... I guess just in terms of times I am interested in, then Rome around 80-40BC or so. Although I would have an arranged marriage...

White, brown, or multigrain bread?
White

What book are you reading currently or read most recently?
I am reading Romanitus, which is set now but as if the Roman Empire never fell. An interesting premise but I'm not that far into it yet. I've always had trouble picking books to read so this year I've established a book-a-month policy, where I have to buy at least one new book every month and read it regardless. So far I've bought 6 (in 3 months) and have been quite happy with them. So I am getting over my book choosing phobia.

How much sleep do you get?
8-9 hours a night.

Preferred type of chocolate - dark, milk, or white?
Dark, although not the really concentrated, like 70% cocoa solids, because I find that a bit bitter.

Spray, stick, or roll-on deodorant?
Roll on

Who are you going for in the World Cup?
Australia obviously, although I think we will have it tough if we manage to get to the second round - I think we would be playing Argentina? Not too optimistic.

What movie genre do you prefer - comedy, thriller, drama, action, animated, musical, (other)?
Probably drama; I like comedy but not the sort that Hollywood thinks I will enjoy, like with Adam Sandler and such in them. Don't like thrillers or horror.

What colour is your hair?
Brown, varies between reddy shades and lighter shades.

Black jellybeans - yum or yuck?
Yuck

Do you have a pet? What, who, how old, etc?
Tuppence, she's a 5 year old Russian Blue. I think she's put on some weight since the vet said she was too skinny, so that's good news.

What's one thing in the past year that you're proud of achieving?
I'm proud of moving out of home and being really happy by myself (although I'd be desperately lonely without Tuppy). Also that I completed my internship with a minimum of tears (these were mandatory ) and turned out to actually be pretty good at being a psychologist!
