That kind of thing is one of the reasons I like 3rd edition, though the awesome power of making up your own rules should never be underestimated! In 3e any race can be any class, but the intelligence penalty for half orcs hurts a little bit.
And don't think my players didn't think about that Variol lol. A lawful evil monk, a chaotic evil half-orc barbarian, a chaotic good halfling rogue, and a chaotic good human ranger - their moral compass was shifty and contradictory to be sure. The good characters having weak personalities, the party would have been dominated by evil if the orc had more than 5 intelligence and the monk had known to focus on strength as a melee fighter [img]smile.gif[/img] |
