how do you remove........

question for anyone ,

i have completed so far collecting the 3 parts of the cure in chapter one. The last encounter the main person had cast "curse" and "reduce your encumbrance" on me. HOW DO YOU REMOVE THEM? i have checked all temples and no one will "remove curse".

HELP!

I have a "restoration" spell but i cannot cast it, "lower restoration spell" i can cast but it has no effect.

i am a level 5 fighter

Is your strenght score drained (in red)? If not then you are simply carrying around too much.

If it is on the other hand:
Get Aribeth to removed the curse from you by asking her to heal you, the curse symbol by the upper right side of the screen should disappear, and then rest to remove the bad effects of the curse.

so just to make sure i get this right for the future, to get a priest to remove, heal, restore, etc.... I just ask them to heal me and they will remove/restore/heal using the proper cleric spell? this is a little different then asking for the exact service from a cleric as in IWD and BG series.

I'm not sure, but I thought sleeping would cure all diseases/curses/etc- make sure you sleep for the whole time though.

Sleeping does not always cure disease, but there is a chance it does. Most of the negative effects go away after resting, some will stick around for a while longer; usually until you cast a lesser restoration spell on yourself.
A priest healing you will remove any and all bad effects, diseases, curses and poisons, as well as restore all your hitpoints with a single spell. Not really a spell, more like a script, but yeah [img]smile.gif[/img]
