For the answer to that, read the latest "Nodwick" comic (or was it in Dragon magazine) - most funny! Raistlin vs Elminster using new 3E spells!

as for Elmister vs Gandalf,i never read Tolkien..so Elmister,heh,,,wait a mintue..i never read any forgotten realms novels (i tryed icewind dale,but that was right after i finsiehd the Chronicals,and i just couldnt get intrested) so i cant say abotu that one

as for Raistling vs Elmister defintaly raist,he became a god after all..

Raistlin never became a God. Caramon and Tasslehoff talked him down from the attempt - he would have if he'd continued though

In one of the 'Tales of Krynn' he ended up back in his old laboratory (rescued unwittingly by his nephew Palin) and settled as a demilich

mmhm, if it came to Raistlin VS Elminster, i'd bet on R...his will to win is very great...and i also like dragonlance more than Forgotten realms
