Good for you, Donut, pastry choice of my mornings... enjoy the time off without the pressures of daily job requirements! I really envy you being able to do that! Smell the roses, coffee or whatever makes you feel good and have a great time doing it!

Sigmar... LOLOL, yes, finding a job first would appear to be a prerequisite to retiring!

Bungleau's right, Timber, teachers get paid for 10 months and are off about 2 or so in the summer around my neck of the woods. University faculty are off from about mid-May to late August!

"LEISURE"

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

By Wm. Henry Davies.
