okay, i will just relate to you guys what happened to me a whileago. i was caught completely surprised. i just came out of underdark and was headed straight towards the docks to enlist the aid of the shadow thieves against bodhi in chapter 6. here is the thing. it has been nearly a year since i played that is why i sometimes forget what will happen. after arriving at the docks, the one thing i completly forgot was that ginyahki (i think thats the spelling) will ambush you to get the blade of the silver sword i got from Saemon. coming staight out from underdark without any REST and caught unprepared was one heck of a challenge. to make things worse, as i was engaging them head on, a group of muggers and ruffians (random encounters) came out and attacked my party. TO MAKE IT EVEN WORSE, one of my characters (my soceress that had a script) started blasting them all that prompted the cowled wizards to appear ( i didnt pay the fine) and started lecturing me about the use of magic blah blah and attacked me as well. i was cornered in 3 fronts, nearly all of my strongest spells was already used up from the underdark, my fighters and thief were all wounded from thier travels. i had muggers, cowled wizards and ginyahki approaching from the front, and sides (the back was the wall). a total of nearly 18 enemies against 6 weakened people. all i had to do is grin as knives, arrows, daggers, magical energies, swords and alike were all charging at me all at the same time. sufficing to say after a very long a tiring battle i emerged victorious (thanks to the regenerative ablility of my shapeshifter) and that it was only he that survived the onslaught. i was laughing at myself how fun that was and how funny that scenario that was. the next thing i did was ............. reload

wish i could've seen a screenshot of that one! - good job actually taking all of them on to the finish (i usually chicken out when the cowled wizards alone appear)

Why did you re-load? That was the funny part you mean? I had that re-load thing once too. I have Quick-Load under the 'L'. I did the Firkraag Dungeon and near the finish my cat jumped on the desk and stepped on 'L'. So I could re-do the whole dungeon after giving the beast something to eat.

A classic encounter.

There must be something about those Githyanki. The last time they confronted me, a party of Amnish enforcers and cowled wizards spawned at the same time.

Question Mark

WWhhhhhooaaaaaa! Good job! That fight with 18 enemies would probably have tested your skills aye? I wish I encounter something like that in the near future, because I have trouble taking on the Cowled Wizards alone.. I would like to see how I cope with lots of thing/people attacking me
