Perditas hypothesis: The meaning of life is to experience life.

There are some thing people can't let go of...like memories....unless you get hit by a car and get amnesia..but i don't think that's a wise decision :S
But yes, letting go of things, does help, I know that, because most of my life I have had things happen to me that I haven't let go of, and it made me ill...but when I started letting go of my problems, I started becoming better again

Memories? The best way to let go of them is to accept them. The alternative is to supress them and that's a destructive behaviour.

That is true Firestormalpha. And I was the type of person to supress them and not accept them, that's how I got ill.

there are some memories I will not let go of, such as the memory of my childrens first steps, or their first words, some things are best not forgotten

Yes, there are some good memories that can be kept. But there are also memories that can hold you back, like some memories that i have kept and won't let go of or accept.
