(just wait for conformation before you do ask one mmmmkkkaaayyy!) Q1- what is the biggest book of JRR Tolkien writing career? Q2 - What was the biggest selling record Sonny and Cher sung on?

Re: The well hard quiz
Q1 - how do you define biggest? Size, sales, impact? In any case, I'll pick LOTR.
Q2 - how do you define record? Album or single? I'll pick I've got you babe

Re: The well hard quiz
But that's three books. Well, in fairness it's six books, but no-one sees it like that. I'd say Return of the King was longest of the three. But as a 'Well 'ard' quiz, surely it's a bit more obscure than that

Re: The well hard quiz
If we count several volumes as counting as one book, then The History of Middle Earth easily wins.

Re: The well hard quiz
Or if we count all his works as one book, then "Tolkein: the full collection" wins.

Re: The well hard quiz
everybody is wrong so far .... this is the well hard quiz after all.
and Bung you are wrong on the Sonny and Cher question as well. As for the definition of the term used lets just say that the words are chosen very carefully

I thought we would have had more Tolkien fans on this forum that would have nailed this straight away.
