Do the idiots playing this game have a clue on life?

Friendly Fire, Ain't! To promote automatic firing to ones own team and NO repercussions speaks volumes of both the designer, and the player.

This may account for some of the stoopid acts of weapon ship that have been surfacing in Basic Training Land recently. I'd like to introduce the designers to my range, and see if they'd suite up for a round!
Um, well.

Firstly: It's a game, it's not supposed to replicate life exactly.

Secondly: No, some of the idiots playing the game really don't.

Thirdly: The friendly fire thing is on a per-server basis, most servers have it on and generally gunning down your teammates is reprised with an insta-death unless your teammate forgives you in case it was an obviously accidential action or his own damn fault.

And fourth: I think that we can blame humans for being idiots in general for whatever stupid things are happening in Basic Training Land.

[/QUOTE]I'm liking your philosophy more and more. By chance, would you know The Hierophant?
Yes, most stupid acts are from humans. Game desingers, parnets who allow it, and the person for thinking life is a GAME, and not reality!

The Hierophant, hmmmm, posts or used to post here? That's about all that springs to mind. But seeing as how it's a title, I may be mixing it up with someone I've seen elsewhere.

The Heirophant
A 'flame' buoyant individual he be. Roaming philosopher, always in for a good post, a free beer, and possibly some harder stuff. Has not been seen in ages! Maybe he fell into the abyss that people refer to as WOW.

From what I understand, he's wandered onto other things. A shame, really.
