mother egenia and glory of suffering

mother egenia stands at the entrence to dragon's eye level 03 after you have saved her from the priests of talona. after dealing with yxunomei and returning why does she continue to stand there.

and is she connected to the glory of suffering (i saw it in another thread)? what is it and where is it found?

The glory of suffering was a really great armor that was removed from the game, and was intended to be in an endgame quest. Egenia, I believe, is not involved.

Egenia hangs out in Dragon's Eye because she has some unfinished business to complete there. You don't find out what until IWD2.

ok so no further use for mother egenia in IWD after dragon's eye. i thought reporting it to sister calliana would be a minor quest too.

Actually her business ends up being a bit further along the road and not in Dragons Eye!!! So she eventually moves on from Dragons Eye possibly folllowing in the destruction you leave behind.
