Hello everyone. Ive almost finished playing Baldurs Gate: TOB, and I was wondering if there were a few other good RPG's or strategy games that you guys would recommend. I have played Neverwinter Nights, and World of warcraft, basically the popular games. Basically a medieval game, lots of interaction like dialouge or oter stuff you can do, thanks guys and I bet its probably been asked alot but thanks again.

PlaneScape Torment is one of the best RPG ever, very little combat and some of the best dialouge ever.
Temple of Elemental Evil is not so bad Knight Of the Old Republic is awesome (if you like Star wars that is) |

Arcanum, Morrowind, Icewind Dale 1&2. And our very own IronWorks Roleplay Forum!

I agree with what's been said in the above posts. A little advice though before you rush off to buy something: make sure you get what you want. Although you do mention you want a medieval type of game with lots of interaction, most games already give you that. It might be wise to have a more specific idea about what you're looking for. If you're looking for loads of freedom in a 3d world -- go for Morrowind. Looking for an RPG in optima forma -- go for Planescape: Torment.
Remember: Neverwinter Nights was considered disappointing by many people because they were expecting a Baldur's Gate 3.

Did you ever play the origional BG? Because if not I recomend you play that too... it just completes the series.
(I am worried about what BG3 will be like though) [ 11-29-2004, 07:36 PM: Message edited by: Maj ]

Wizardry 8, Wizardry 8 and Wizardry 8 in that order
ToEE is good too, but really short. I love that style of combat! Pool of Radiance has the same combat which is great (did I mention that?) and they've got all the original bugs worked out. Just put the patches in.

I was looking for a mideval game with lots of interaction, dioluage , and fghiting. Maybe an even mix, I play a paladin in most games a fighter if I have to. Yeah I played in a few of the betas, like the open beta and the stress test, its pretty cool, actually really good, but i dont think i could pay for it month wise plus its really time consuming it would be a waste during the school year, maybe over break or in the summer.
hanks for the replies guys feel free to add more and good advice Link im checking out the games on google |

yeah ie played it some but i lost my cd a while back so i cant play it anymore... although me and my friends found that using i mac labtops you can play games with one cd just turn it on then pull out the cd, then you can just pass it. on pretty sweet although you need to be right next to each other to pass the cd.
