Is there a guide out yet for IWD 2? And if so is it any good or is it like the NWN guide all over again?

Piestrider,

If it's a walkthrough you want, try this one:

http://www.skullport.com/games/iwd2/solve/solve.shtml

There are a couple of others that can be found by reviewing this thread:

Is there something in particular you were looking for???

The "Prima's Official Strategy Guide" that you can purchase for IWDII is bare-bones useful. If you need to get past a tough area or are having trouble with a puzzle, it is useful (much like the IWDI Guide). If you want insight into the game or a good list of the items (it has a list, but not a terribly useful list), then no, it's not good.

It wastes pages on trying to be a strategy guide (which it sucks at) & a bestiary (which it utterly sucks at) & a spell guide (which it also utterly sucks at), but once it gets into the game, it's comprehensive but not compelling, if that helps at all.

I'm talking about a perfect guide like the one for SOA and TOB with the weapons lists and the maps and all that stuff. Thanks for the other information though.
