How did they keep Morpheus' shades on his face in Matrix? That's where I first saw this kind of thing. I'll bet they could put magnets on the ends of the barbell piercing (or replace the piercing with stick-ons) & matching magnets on the glass frames to hold them on that way.

The same way a monacle is kept in place. A little squeeze and a lot of concentration. And practice.

I don't have any piercings myself, but i kind of like the idea of the pierced glasses. One would have to watch one's tongue whilst wearing 'em, though...

What if your vision worsens (is that a word?) And you need new glasses? If I insert something permanent in my body, I want to be sure it's useful for a long time.

The bridge of the glasses is permanent. The lenses can be replaces when your prescription changes.
