Well I predict that all the predictions that Aelia made will come true .

But in the spirit of originality, I predict that Australia will challenge England to another game of soccer (sorry - football ), but that the game will not take place because England could not bear the blow to country morale if the "unthinkable" were to happen a 2nd time .

Ok, Here are the Predictions made for 2004, let's see if anyone got any right! BTW, for some reason, this thread would not come up in a search, so I had to manually find it. Odd.. I better figure out why it didn't show up.

I have been having problems searching things from the archives too Ziroc. If you search by a member number nothing seems to come up

Aelia's were all right, which made my first one right. Also my 2nd one came true too, so I am batting 100.

I was half-right... except for the democratic challenger.

And Davros, which game are you batting in? In baseball, batting 100 is only 1 out of 10...

Cricket you wally - did you not check out all Aelia's predictions and realise that was the correct sport. Centuries are good in cricket

I just went back to check out Aelia's post, and nowhere does it mention cricket! It was talking about punts and tugs and cups and things, but no clue for us uninitiated as to what sport is actually being discussed.

Hence my question to figure out what sport you were talking about, and look! I've learned something before 10AM here!

LOL Bungleau . Punt and Tug are people too, so you're excused

Actually, didn't Boof replace Tugga, Davros?

Boof did briefly Aelia, but by the end of the year it was Clarke. I think Boof is on the way out. Hey - what is Clarkeys nickname? With intitials like MC and the way he swings the bat they should call him Hammer .
