Glad to have you back around, LK! Greetz to Lady Aberdene and the Gibbies

I went back to school after some time off, but in a slightly different situation (going back for a masters degree). What I found was that in my first few classes back, I was really able to focus more than I could in my undergrad days. IOW, it was really easy to pay attention and decide to learn the stuff being presented.

By the fifth or sixth class, however, that new-Christmas-present euphoria wore off, and I was back to going through the grind, just like before.

I was a lot smarter about studying and doing assignments, though. I was more able to figure out what was important and what wasn't.

Good luck on school, and I hope everything takes a turn for the better for you.

Good luck in school, LordK, it's really different when you are not a kid, rather better.

Good to se you back LK! Good for you going back to school, it is much better as an adult, much more enjoyable and worthwhile. Glad to hear your family is well, also.
How about a new pic of your kitty?

Sorry LorgK, I don't know you. I'm fairly new to the Gen Disc board; more popular at the Wiz8 board. MS is pretty serious. How are you going to manage school if you had to quit work?

Hey Lord K! Here's hoping things get better for you.

Sounds like a very exciting time- going back to classes and all! I hope you enjoy the classes and being a student again. It will take a little getting used to, I imagine, but if you like what you're studying it should be fun.

Welcome back, Kathen! Sorry to hear about your MS getting worse, but it sounds like this might be a whole new and exciting chapter in your life. Good luck with it! Does A.A. stand for Associate of Arts? So what are you going to be studying? I remember a while back you posted suggesting you might study psych. You should!
