my job sucks, by boss is a real b*tch, the usual. Friends that keeping promising me that we'll meet up, keep cancelling. Nothing life threatening fortunately

Actually, the fact that Spring is here in force is helping dispell any unhappy feelings - the flowers are up.. the weather is warm... and it is a wonderful day to sit on the porch and watch the birds... yeah, I am sappy - but I Love This Weather!! Bring on the sunshine!!

Yeah I do, but that why I want to see my friends for a change.

Boss has just asked me why the "Sample Code" does not do searches in Spanish as she has assigned a Spanish speaker to test it. She didn't like the reply, it doesn't because

1) it was never meant to
2) it's sample code so it doesn't have all the features
3) it's a pain to change it now, as the code is finished, and the original author didn't adhere to coding standards so it's a pain in the arse to maintain.

The impossible we do at once anything more takes a little longer.
