Happy Off topic: Wow, long time no see guys.

Pleasantly surprising to see this place so active!

Got really nostalgic the other day when someone asked me what the first PC RPG I ever played was (Wizards & Warriors), and thought about this forum.

Decided to pop in and say hello, which used to be an annual event but fell off about 2004 (I was active here around mid-2001 to early 2002? I think.)

Turns out that I've forgotten the password to my old account (Chi master) and to the hotmail I used to register it (typical) so I decided to make this one quickly and say hello =)

Anyone here remember me? I was the annoying kid who posted half his topics in full caps, asked questions like "who's you favourit charicter?" and sat in the Boogre Bar all day "sampling" the wine =P You'll have to forgive me, I was 10-11 years old. It's only when I look back on those posts now that I realise how tolerant and friendly you guys all were for puting up with me, hahaha.

Hopefully some of the old regs I remember are still around.

Welcome, Chi Master! It's great to have you back again...

Ziroc can probably reset your old account if you want... just send him a PM and see if he can do it. Wyv may be able to do it as well... you never know for sure just how many powers a Mod has

Hey, Bungleau. I remember you =) And Wyvern as well.

The account doesn't really bother me, I don't mind being a new user.

I'm extremely tempted to dust off Wizards & Warriors for a play through. In fact, I never actually finished it, so that's long overdue. Might not be able to get it to work now I'm running XP though.

I'll do it after I've finished with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I'm playing that on Xbox 360 at the moment, it's a great game.

CHI!!! How nice to see you back again!!

Yes, we're still hanging in here and have spurts of activity which is really nice for a game that is "this" old! lol!!

Hope we will see you more often now!!

Hi Wyvern

Yeah, I'll try to pop in a little more often that ever few years now. Chances are that if I do give the game anther playthrough I'm finally make good use of all the technical information that was compilled.

Speaking of the tech thread, when was the last time anyone around here saw WillowIX? Or Packrat?

I saw WillowIX on another site recently. I think it was just a fluke, it was a site my daughter was on. Packrat, I haven't seen, but would like his technical nouce to get W &W o play on my current PC.

Hey Chi, welcome back! Sorry it took so long to notice this thread, I've been playing W&W again, started a new thread for it called "Replay Value", and I posted a correction and some info in the "Best Tips" thread.

I've been playing it with XP without much trouble now that I have the following- Virtual Dub, the Graphics Patch, and the Unofficial Patch. Check the Technical Tips thread for more info.

Hope to see you back with news of your adventures in the Gael Serran soon!!
