I am a level 10 Undead Hunter and was curious how I get a stroghold started. I read on "Planet Baulders Gate" that you have to be at level 9 to start a quest for one. Anyhow, someone on this board told me to find a guy by the name of Firkaag in the Copper Coronet and that he would start me on the Holy Avenger quest. I have looked for this guy several times, but can not find him anywhere. Also how do I become a member of the Order of the Radiant Heart, I read that I have to be a member of that also to get the stronghold. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanx!

I don't know exactly how the paladin quest goes. I am certain that you'll have to talk to Firkraag. I am not exact if Firkraag himself is there, you will have to search a man in the copper coronet he is close to the bar, slender looking type. There is also something with helping out the paladins in the bridge district near that guard that will talk to you about the murders.

Hi Thore,
I sympathize with your plight. People are so fond of saying that you have to talk to Firekrag in the Copper Coronet, it is intriguing that they usually fail to mention that his name isn't Firekrag in the Copper Coronet. Firekrag is that Lord whatever his name was, who stands in the middle near the bar, offering you a job if you want it, everytime you walk in. |

I believe his name is Lord Jierdan or something like that. I've completed his quest as well as killed Firkraag and joined the order. One thing that I was curious about though is that when I became a member the guy told me that the room behind him was mine to use. First of all he had his back to the open hall. Second... Only thing near him was a kitchen and dining room. laugh. Thought maybe there would be a room with a chest or something to keep things in. Anyways. I've finished a few quests for him and now he just says that he has no need for me at the moment... Was that it? A couple simple quests that were minor tasks compared to what I accomplished to get into the Order. I guess when I played as a mage and got the Planar Sphere the stronghold quests weren't any harder though... Guess I just prefer playing as a mage. Maybe I'll make an Assassin. Always enjoyed playing thieves.

They really should have done more with the strongholds in this game. The thieves' guild only has two quests, and the fighters' stronghold is just a bunch of bloody diplomacy!

It would have been nice for there to be more stronghold quests... But I guess you have to draw the line somewhere. I bet it would have taken another couple of years to put everything that the makers and us gamers would like see in the game.
