to speak Chinese. They went into the resturant with thier small dog. The couple ordered their food even though they didn't know what they were ordering. The waitress came and the couple made gestures to leave the dog somewhere while they eat. It took a few minutes for the waitress to understand. The waistress lead the dog away. The man said to his wife "I've heard the Chinese make the best food in the world!" "Yes Molly says the food here is better than in America!" The countinued their converation and it took a long time for their food to arrive. They were eating the fabulous meal and knew that Molly meant what she really meant. "This food is delicous darling. Lets take our friends here next time. Lets come back here after we finish buissness with Megaspo." "Yes but did you know there are some resturants like these back at home?" "Really? I must tell my buddies in Ironworks about this!" "Ironworks?" "A wonderful forum with a lot of polite people." They finished thier food and the waitress brough them the check.

And a dog collar.

This is based on a true story.....well most of it. It happned in the 70's and I learned of this legend just yesterday. The moral of the story? Well it's pretty obvious learn how to speak Chinese when you come to China.

When you first mentioned the words "Chinese", "restaurant", and "small dog". I put those words together and I knew where it was eluding to. Yuck!

Well yes the name was one clue, but also I happen to know that American food isn't actually "respected" as the Greatest one on the planet by german speaking people...

If dog really tasted that good, it's unlikely it would have become mans best friend. It would have become mans best meal instead.
