Default Editor and Mod for W & W

Found this site with an editor and mod, I used the mod and it doesn't crash the game, as i have just started playing the game, I haven't notice if the mod works, but it doesn't affect the game...! Haven't used the editor, but others might and then post results here....!

As this is the only 'mod' I have found for the game, I thought i'd spread the news around!

I had a stab at decrypting all of the game files before, but I never got around to writing a program, I used hex editing instead. Should be interesting to see if the editor works.

Crazy... didn't know there was still an interest in W&W out there!

If someone wants to have some fun looking at several levels that didn't make it into the final version, check out my archived W&W site:

planet.io/_archive/web_deep6/

Tap the "Grab Bag" orb button and go to the bottom of the page.

If you get any of these to load, I'd love to know! It's been over a decade since I've seen them.

Cheers,

Alz, firstly, a big thanks for this game, as you worked on it, at least for a while - you should be very proud! I'd like to think you're still working at a company producing RPG's, given your knowledge and experience with them!

Secondly, I am downloading the various AVI and levels files as I type, and will let people know how it goes....!

Heya

Not sure what the voice means -- I haven't played the game in over a decade, so I won't be much help. But I know there are several people and links on this forum that're great resources for help!

I can't locate the page that Alz mentioned in his post, post #4 in this topic:
http://www.planet.io/_archive/web_deep6/
I also can't locate his homepage, Darkslayers.com, it is now up for auction.

I have tried the Wayback Machine to no avail. Maybe Google caching?
I could not access the Darkslayers website because the Machine was blocked by Robots.txt

These things may just be gone. What keywords did you use when googling?

I'll try ferreting around and see if I can find anything.
