...and adjusting your "gamma", it is important to do that LAST - that means when you change resolution, sound or whatever u have to adjust gamma LAST so the program saves that.

Adjusting "gamma" between other changes does not change the gamma at restart...u can see the adjustment when u restart and the starting screen (Wizards&Warrios Picture) is really bright !!

Good point, Taski. Whenever you make some of the other changes, the gamma gets reset to a default value, so you get to set it again... and again... and again...

When I play on my Win98 machine, the gamma is so high that Kerah's picture (at the opening screen) is almost completely white.

Yep... really, REALLY bright.

And thanks for the avatar thoughts. Certainly an improvement over the slobbering red skinned devil, no?

You can include that picture in your sig, Taski, but not as an avatar. IOW, it can be down at the bottom of your post, but not on the side.

To put it in your sig, you need to include the appropriate UBB code -- click on the "UBB Code is enabled" link to the left of the quick reply box, and you should be there.

The image does have to fit within certain sizing guidelines, and you do have to be able to link to it directly from outside your web site. Click on the FAQ link up top for details on how to accomplish all this.

Here's what you need to put into your sig:

[*img*]http://www.yourhost.com/yourimage.gif[*/img*]

Remove the asterisks around the word "img", put in the full URL to your image, and it should work just fine. If you want to send me the URL, I'll mock up what it should look like.

Remember that you can't actually put the image in there; you have to put a link to the image, and tell the browser to display it. That's what the above line does.
