I think the offers you get depend on the race you have. If i could choose freely i would pick the Sardaukar and the Fremen but since that isnt the case...

Maybe you could try both. Then you could chose which one you like best.

I wish it was that easy, but you need to complete a rather large level to get either of em'.

IMHO I would try Ix. I mean: if you're afraid that the Tleilaxu will betray you, go for Ix! That noticing spy thing could come in pretty usefull.

I agree, you were right about the Atreides b.t.w, they are far more powerfull then te harkonnen. I usually use a scout to uncover their base and then destroy all their mayor buildings with my airforce. After that, their troops go to retreat mode and i wipe 'em out with my groundforces.

Precisely. Problem with Atreides, though, is that their more powerful weapons come later in the game (at least, that's the case in Dune 2). Sonic Wave Tank is obvious the best unit in the game.

Right, the game is just to easy. I just build a very easily defendable base on a rock, with a dozen guntowers, rocket launchers, guys with mortars, snipers and walls at the entrance. My harvesters dont have to pass(they get flown around in the Carryalls) so thats not a problem. I get myself two dozen harvesters, build another base with even more harvesters. Get a HUGE army from the reinforcements that keep ariving, build a massive air force, send out a scout to uncover their base, gather my forces on a nearby rock(though its hard, since my army is often so large is very hard to keep it togheter, and their are worms everywere). Then i drop a massive air assault on their main buildings(wich have VERY low armor so they are destroyed very easily) They shoot down several of my planes but im so rich by then that i can easily replace them. After i destroyed their base they try to flee. But i send in my ground forces and cut of their escape route while i keep attacking them from the air. Mission complete.

The Ordos have the strongest forces, they get to ally with both the Fremen, the Sardaukar and the house of Ix, AND due to a bug in the game, holographic Ix illusions of Ordos Deviator Tanks can still convert enemy vehicles!
