Well it's about time someone mentioned Resident evil, the entire series is scary but like Bahamut said the worst is Resident evil 2.

Resident Evil 2 I agree is the worst... 3 ain't freaky anymore... better graphics, less freakyness IMHO.

Why did they edit or change those little things in Silent Hill? What it's like they don't want blood in games so the first Mortal Kombat on Snes was without any blood? Crap

uss, get avp no. one, it fullon more scary than avp2 was, seriously
And like someone/s said, turn out the lights, turn up volume (it even worse if you got surround speakers) and play the human/marines campaign.
You will fullon jump like a fool when you hear the 'screeek' of a bunch aliens coming at you from above, below and the sides in the PITCH BLACK while you hold your pitiful little pop-gun \

I'm not exagerating hahahaha

Resident evil 1, as you walk on a corridor, the music go quiet, the sound of your own steps go a bit louder and a FREAKING pack of dogs jump breaking the window and start chewing you...

Unreal, in a small underground passage, after shutting down the power you walk to the exit, all the sudden red lights start turning on and a blinking light show some stroboscopic effect of something running towards you...
