Just curious, what is meant by 'usage type' for a bow? It usually shows +10 or 20 or 40% etc. Also what is the 'kick' and 'levels mearned by profession'?
I'm having a problem figuring out which bow my Ranger should use.

Usually if you identify a bow, the info you get is labelled: Damage +XX%; Initiative +/-X; To Hit +X; Kill X%. Some bows also have a HP regen, and other similar effects. It sounds to me like the scripts are messed up in whatever you're using to check out bows, and you'll have to figure out which wrong heading belongs to the respective stat; the best i can say for sure is that the two-digit followed by % is how much damage the bow will add to the arrows' damage.
The headings you are seeing belong to the spell part of items which have spells.

Hmmm.....thanks for the help Scat.
Yeah, my scripts ARE messed up. (I'm using DSs amazing mod btw. It's really great!) I THINK it may have to do with the mod. I'm using the original .exe not the no-cd crack which I had used for the normal game without mod.
Other parts of the inventory screen are labeled wrong. At least it's good to know that the +% is damage adds.
I have 'kick -1' and 'levels earned br profession -1' on the bow stats screen. Any idea what those should be?
How reliable would the sale value be for determining the usefulness of bows?

Kick is probably Inititative; the other To Hit. That's the sequence they have on the normal bow stats.

Sale value helps some, to determine at least how much magic and/or material value went into their creation.
