Talk to the mage, she will tell you where to look. She did for me anyway. She doesn't know the location of all of the tomes though!

Basically, the tomes are all around the whole chapter. When you come to the chest or bookcase, where one of those tomes is in, you will notice additional special effect, which is a dead-sure giveaway that that particular shelf/chest contains something important... Visual effect, that is [img]smile.gif[/img]
