I was thinking about characters and I have a few questions. What would be the best dual class person besides kensai/mage? I think a Avenger/Mage would rock! Just dual class in the begging or a bit later and you can cast cleric, shapchange(Black Bear is a VERY strong form, in it I took down 3 vampires at once)and cast mage!
Any more cool combos? |

I would think ranger dual classed to cleric would be one of the best. He could dual wield the super warhammer (Crom Faeyr?) with the flail of ages and have access to all wisdom spells.

how about an assasin/mage? Imagine this...
Slowly the assasin procceded. He utters an incatination and dissapars. He reapears behind Mr. Toolsi and then quickly backstabs him with his poisened weapon. Then just before he leaves he utters a word and fire flashes out. Soon the body is just ashes and the assaisin takes out a scroll. He activates it and turns into a bird and flies out the window. Then he goes collect the reward....... |

My favorite was the cleric/mage.He was a healer, had access to devastating spells, could wear armor(although he would need to wear robes to cast)and use weapons.Mine was a devastating -9 ac with certain items and had scrolls in order to keep his armor as he faught with double flail of ages.

Yep Kensai can use robes. Mine has -4 ac with the good archmagi robe and that's giving earth control and cloak of the sewers to other characters.

Can you dual from Avenger? Some of the specialised kits wouldn't dual. Archer and Beastmaster for eg. wouldn't dual even though Ranger could.

Rangers can only dual to Clerics
but to do that you need 17 wisdom and 15 con I dont know if druids can dual to anything else then fighter it didn't work for me |
