ooc: Not really... Mistral has long been trained to be unemotional in her dealings with others most of the time. She only gets sentimental when it comes to issues such as family and love. Based on that, I have no worries about her being unable to handle Maverick. Let's just say I'm sitting on the fence, waiting for the others' votes |

ooc: Trust me dear... She's going to cry. ~maniacal laughter~
I just can't tear myself from this! And if Maverick's the only way to move forward, so be it! |

ooc: No! I won't make her cry... running out of adjectives to describe tears, and highly bored by the whole issue of weeping. Her character is developing in various aspects, anyway. Make that 2 scenarios I don't like having to keep writing about - combat and crying. Hmm... pickey, ain't I?
Btw, what has Deiter done?? Erm, is it that difficult to avoid being grounded? [This message has been edited by mistral4543 (edited 10-23-2001).] |

ooc: I'm not kidding! Maverick can be a very cruel person! Besides, all it takes is the right amount of Larry's blood splashing on you... Larry's pretty sensitive too...
I think he'd make a good twist to the plot. But that's just me... |

OOC...Very interesting promises there, Spree.
You say that I will be threatened. Is this guy meaning to do physical harm to Mistral? If so, then he had better hope that I do not kill him. He will of course have to play by the rules, and submit a character description. That is to keep everyone in check, but no spoilers are needed of his past. And why would Deiter have trouble with him? Deiter doesn't have trouble with anyone. He's a mellow dude! |

ooc: Well then, it seems my suggestion for the title of this thread would be apt if Midget does join.
Personally, I find that we aren't going far enough into Larry's, Kaz's and your subplot after so many threads (I know, my being a prolific writer didn't help matters and I apologise if my imagination got too carried away). Not sure if it'll throw back all your sub-plot developments considerably with the introduction of a chaotic sort of character... Larry getting butchered as well? Hmm, maybe Larry and I can then continue a separate thread about life in the heavens... Seriously, though, I will wait for Larry and Kaz to reply on this. |

Are you saying that your friend plays rough?
Or are you saying that you are going to write the character be be tough, and Midget is going to play by the script you give him? |

Ok...my character is being decided in detail at the moment.
By reviewing the book description of a Ranger, I have determined that I could easily be a Stalker kit player. See below... Larry Human Chaotic Good Stalker / Level 10 Stalkers serve as covert intelligence-gatherers, confortable in both wilderness and urban settings. They are spies, informants, and interrogators, and their mastery of stealth makes them deadly opponents. Advantages: * Racial Enemy: Lich * +20% to Stealth * Backstab at level ten is x2 * Has access to a few mage spells at level 12, but I choose not to be magic oriented at all. Disadvantages * Only two proficiency slots per weapon * May not wear armor greater than Studded Leather Items owned * Black Studded Leather Armor * Boots of Speed * Boots of Stealth * Nightblade (Special Katana) * Dagger + 2 * Gauntlets of Weapon Mastery * Ioun Stone of Regeneration (1hp / min.) * 3,000 gp Personality * Depressed when alone * Romantic at heart * Afraid he'll make the wrong decision, which will hurt others * Not afraid to fight for a good cause * True to his friends Powers of the Nightblade Katana * +2 weapon * Blue glow that gets brighter when strong magic is near or in warning * Has an intelligence of her own, even to the point of fighting for and protecting the true wielder against harm. * Can obey certain commands * Becomes cool to the touch when she is powered up * Can unleash certain ice spells when powered up * Provides a blue fire-sheild when needed * Sister blade to the Brightblade, named Shattered Reality * Other unidentified powers If anyone has a question or comment about my character, please feel free to challenge me. I think I am very underpowered, for what this RPG is expecting from each of us, but I did not want a strong character. He is supposed to be new to the world of adventuring, but has learned alot of lore from his father. [This message has been edited by Larry_OHF (edited 10-25-2001).] |
