Right.

I am sitting and taking my BG2, and other older games onto a single DVD disc instead..

Worked fine with BG2, and it installs way faster.

However, with Planescape Torment - I've hit a wall.

On CD 4, there is a scratch, error or something that renders the file : AR1900.bif unreadable.

That's why I call upon all of you, to find your torment cd's, and e-mail me the file at froberg@404forums.net !

I'm really stuck here until I can have that one file replaced. I don't think this is going against any rules - as it's just an area file.

Thanks for your time!

How big is it? My Gmail account can send 10-meg files, and besides that, I know how to split it up into segments with RAR-files.

Froberg: If you haven't gotten it yet, throw me an email at purplexvi@gmail.com so I'll remember when I get home from work. If I can get the file to you, I will.

I know how to do it, but I can't remember the process off-hand. Basically you go in there and start getting around to .RAR'ing it, and then at some point during the process, you have a choice of: "Biggest size per segment." And then that determines how much it gets split up.

Once you've had it split up, you just need all of the parts in one directory and anyone opening one will open them all and get the contents out in a single piece.

EDIT: Just did it. Basically you just right-click and say "Add to archive..." then on the bottom left there's an option called: "Split to Volumes, Bytes." Then you just decide how big each segment gets to be, and it splits it automatically.

Gah, it's telling me my messages are too large. I'll try smaller attachments if it keeps doing so, otherwise I'm going to send you a Gmail invite. It should be able to recieve the attachments without any problems.
