Keal - We're going to need to increase your character's intelligence score - 6 is simply too low for a character to survive with in this game. Let's increase that score to 9 which places it just on the low side of average.

There is no reason why this place cannot become the "Out-Of-Character" thread for the Lockeville mini-game.
Keal, I had asked dplax not to use red for his color because it does not show up well against the brown background on some monitors, like mine. I feel like I am asking a lot from you these days. Lol. Sorry.

Just for reference to everybody...Morgie provided a link for everyone to find "web-safe" colors...that are assured not to go haywire on some browsers.
http://llizard.etherwork.net/cwc/colour2.htm Note: Lighter or medium colors work better on the chocolate background that we have here.

Keal, you're likely to be better off going with a lighter color than the blue you've chosen as it's still rather difficult to read.
I realize having to change font colors can be a bit of a pain, but it's usually worth taking the time to find a good color to use at the beginning as it makes everyone's life a bit easier when it comes to reading through the posts. |

Keal, I noticed something in connection with your post and your bio. In the bio you say that your parents were killed by the evil Larry, then say that your family lived and died in Lockesville during the post.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the evil Larry, also known as the Modding Mage, has never had any business in this town far to the west of where he usually operates. |

The game is getting off to a good start. The characters are free to come and go inside the town as they please...even several miles out of town, but it is not permitted at this time to travel East along the caravan road for more than a day's ride. If anyone ever needs a map...well, we'll get to that later.
Right now, I have three important announcements. 1. Oley and Vindson are not council-members. They are business owners inside the town. Dplax and Morgeruat have placed them there to help in the RP for your benefit. 2. Cyril will be playing the part of Edward Locke and I will be his younger brother Simon. Nobody is allowed to post words into the mouth of any character outside your own control, nor make movements that assumes control over an NPC. To the gamers in this game, Oley, Vindson, Simon and Edward are NPCs. (Non-playable characters.) 3. Please be wary of obvious spelling errors. Correcting mistakes before posting shows that time and consideration was put into your post. Some of us put a lot of work into our posts, and would hope to be shown the same consideration.

Note: The Resident Temple of this town is the Temple of Demeter.

The following maps are representative of what we have in the game at this time. Additions to the maps will be made as needed. Refer to these maps as a source to help picture the town in your descriptions as you write.
(Old map of town interior replaced. See page 5 for new map.) ================================================= [ 02-05-2006, 08:58 PM: Message edited by: Larry_OHF ]
