Thanks, guys. I guess that I didn't make it clear: I have killed the red and shadow dragons, and I don't want to kill the silver dragon. So, according to Xen's list, I can fight four more dragons in SoA, then another 3 in ToB, assuming I take on WK in SoA. I'm not ready yet to try out Tactics or Ascension, but I'll get to them eventually.

Depending on your party's alignment, you may not want to just slay every dragon you see... Hopefully it isn't giving away too much to say that there are some situations in which you are being "tested", so simply killing a dragon may not fit your character's alignment.
