1,000,000? Ouch! I hope, for her own sake that she doesn't attempt it. However, if she has another crazy moment, go for it ! Aren't you going to phone up like the Guiness Book of World Records or something? You would definately get in there.... although she'd have to start again from the beginning....

But nothing compared to your roommate... wowza

*edit* strike that... just about 2500 games, not 4000. I'm not as prolific as I remember...
Comments from Gabrielle ...
I don't know what my success rate is - I don't bother looking at it. A few of the layouts have been especially difficult to complete and have needed over 50 attempts to beat. Some of them are really easy, and can be done in under a minute. And as Mark's ( aka Pangur's ) wife, I guess I do have to share a room with him.

Whoopsie! I misremembered the first part of the original post, and converted "partner" into "roommate". Sorry, Gabrielle...

I get my success rate by looking at the current winning percentage from F4. I realize it's not a true rate, since it counts all attempts at a layout as just one loss, but it's better than anything else I've got

Just 81% success rate, after only 150 games. Room for improvement I think

Is every game achievable? I swear i've come across a couple that are impossible.

and I thought I was good :/ I only beat the first 1000 in the old 98 version, and only about 500 in the xp version, granted, once you learn to see the all the cards, it is easier to beat them, but 10,000? how long has she been playing it?

yes, I belive every game is able to be beat, you just have to make sure you play your hand right, in the last few hundred games, I do not think I lost one, and it makes my husband mad, because he likes the game better than me

About 4 years, but as she increases her Freecell skills, they are taking less time to do. As of 28th May, she's now on game 10,142

We checked and found that the 32,000 games in 98 appear to be exactly the same as the first 32,000 games in XP, game for game. Of course, we didn't check them all, but the 15 or so layouts we did check were identical.
