Well, I experienced the drama of Ypshimo being killed by my hands like 5 million times. But is there a way for Yoshimo to survive and be with me in ToB?

Long answer: No. Spoilers below... | | | | | | | | | | v v Yoshi has had a Geas of servitude placed upon him by Irenicus, forcing him to do Jonny's every whim. He is a traitor, and was sent to spy on you. If you take him with you to Spellhold, he turns on you and you must kill him. If you don't, he has failed in his mission to spy on you, and is irrevocably slain by the failed Geas. The only way to theoretically ressurect him is with a Wish spell (not Limited Wish, REAL Wish), but the engine does not allow that option, and it would be a waste of a Wish anyway.

In your pocket plane in TOB that irratating imp offers to bring any NPC you want to your location and lists all NPC's from SOA. Why is Yoshi in that list then. I tried it once, but said that Yoshi is forever beyond your reach or something to that effect. Why would the programmers put that option in there? There must be a way. Without cheating of course

Yoshimo can be kept until the end of the SoA game providing he doesn't sail to Brynlaw with you. I don't know about keeping him in ToB however.
