what do you mean by easier? do you mean the actual creating of the design? do you mean the coding? do you mean finding the proper artwork and sounds?
as far as creating a design, i recommend articles for the game that dungeon craft is built off of, unlimited adventures. there is a whole slew of articles for beginning designers, called beginner's corner in the newsletters for this game. go to this link-- unlimited adventures newsletters as far as actually coding the events, there is a nice help file that comes with dungeon craft, and it's getting better all the time. plus, you can ask questions here. as for artwork, check out the ironworks, or manikus' dungeon craft page, or the cauldron hope this helps. [ 11-11-2001: Message edited by: manikus ] |

What the 'L' are you doing, manikus? Are you trying to drive us all crazy? Or just me? (Manikus's dungeon craft page)is missing the 'l' in above html address!

the sad thing is that i screwed up just cutting and pasting.
but, i've always thought that if i could just drive one person crazy, that my mission on this planet would be complete. |

What would be nice about those UA newsletters is if they were available as ZIPped-up files too. The thought of downloading so many separate HTML files fills me with dread.

I keep all of the UANL's on the DC website mirrors, in zip and html format. The access page isn't fancy, but you will find links to zips for all UANL's at the bottom.
