I studied Gung Li Do for a couple of years.

It's a variant form of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do.

That was too many years ago, though. Now I practice Ta-Ching. It's similar to Magik's version, only with semi-automatic handguns. (pull the slide back and it goes "ta-ching")

Mexican Street Fighting as a kid.

As an adult, I did a bit of akido. Just got started, then I broke my back. Didn't get a lot of practice after that.

Ni Dan in Taizan Ryu Jui Jitsu, did some Aikido which I think
I like better than Jui Jitsu but classes got way to expensive.
Kendo and Iai Jitsu. Tsien Chuan(Mang Chuan) Kung Fu where
i learned how to properly cut a pig in two (eww I know)
I have studied a few to many styles and stuck it out in a couple
of them. But now a day';s it seems like most schools are in it only
for the money and not the quality of what they are teaching. I
have a friend who signed her boy up for a karate class and
she pay's 75$ a month for 3 classes a week, then there are the testing fees for the multiple ranks inside each rank i.e. white w/yellow sripe x2 yellow w/orange stripe x2 etc.... Just seems a wee bit excessive to me. I used to teach for 25$ a month per student
with test per rank yellow, orange, green, blue, brown etc..
and if you failed I would refund half the difference mostly keeping it on retainer for the next try. Granted I taught out of a rec center
which was glad to have me there.

By the way, how is Krav Maga ? Ive heard good things about it.

When I was 15 I lived in a REALLY tough neighbourhood, and me and my friends were getting mugged at least once a week. So we all went to the local lesiure centre and signed up for every martial arts course we could find. We went out into the Big Wide World and woe betide those that tried to stop us.
Because of my background, I learned basic street fighting early on, but the martial arts lessons REALLY helped.
