Okay, step by step: (I am running version 1.2)
1. lauch Spybot-Search & Destroy. 2. Notice that there are three icon on the right hand side, they are "Search & Destroy", "Recovery" and "Immunize" 3. Click on the "Immunize" button. This will bring on a new main screen. 4. At the main screen, scroll down and you will notice additonal 3 options, default unchecked. They are: - Lock Host file as read-only as protection against hijackers. - Lock IE start page setting against user change (current user) - Lock IE control panel against opening from within IE (current user) Just check ANY or ALL of them and exit.

Actually, the "Lock IE Start Page" will be checked, and should be unchecked, the IE start page changed to what it should be, and the box rechecked. This should fix the problem.
