Shurugeon Castle. After killing Haleabus and freeing De Soto's spirit, you get access to two chests in the throne room. One of them contains the shroud.
Note: you MUST speak with the spirit and make the spirit to place "Elseramavin" on your list of answers. Otherwise, neither "Elseramavin" nor the shroud will work.

A warm welcome to the board from me as well.

You might want to know that the shroud can also be equipped as a shield as well. Just equip it in your left hand slot. It has a shield rating of 5.

You've already got the answers on this, and I learned something tonight -- that you could equip the shroud as a shield! I've never tried that. Can you enchant it as well? That could make things rather interesting...
